Ukraine’s President Zelensky Confirms Counter-Offensive Against Russian Forces

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky said a counter-offensive was underway against Russian forces on the 10th (local time).

President Zelensky made the remarks at a joint press conference after meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who visited Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, on the same day.

He acknowledged that a counteroffensive in Ukraine was underway, but declined to elaborate on specifics.

“Counteroffensive and defensive measures are being carried out in Ukraine,” Zelensky said. “I will not go into detail at what stage.”
