• On the night of June 6, the Russian invaders blew up the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, destroying the engine room and the dam, the station cannot be restored. Ukrhydroenergo expects the reservoir to operate within the next 4 days. The shallowing of the Kakhovka reservoir threatens the safety of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
• The explosion of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station caused an ecological catastrophe. Water from the reservoir began to flood cities and villages, and evacuation began. As a result of the explosion of the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, water supply problems in Krivoy Rog, Marganets and Nikopol.
