After five years at Liverpool, Naby Keita will return to the Bundesliga. The Guinean midfielder (28 years old, 48 caps) officially signed up as a free player with Werder Bremen on Friday. He signed a three-year contract, according to Bild, as the German club did not confirm the length of his contract.
The former RB Leipzig player (2016-2018) will have won five major trophies with the Reds, including the Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League in 2020. But he was not a starter and had played little this season (8 league matches).
