Method of booking sacrifices
The Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation will prepare for the blessed Eid al-Adha season and open the door for reservations for sacrificial animals, with discounts of up to 30% from market prices. The following is the detailed way to reserve the sacrificial animals:
1- Reservation of sacrificial meat takes place at the production sector headquarters on Ministry of Agriculture Street in Dokki, Land Improvement Tower, sixth floor.
2- Reservations are only allowed by payment via a Visa card, and a payment is made as a reservation from the price of the sacrifice.
3- The reservation is made by means of the national number card of the citizen who wishes to reserve or purchase the sacrifice.
4- The citizen determines the type of sacrifice required (cows, buffaloes, sheep) and its weight.
5- The citizen is given a receipt stating the type of sacrifice, its weight, its age, and the date of receipt.
6- The sacrificial animal is delivered at the specified time by the detaining citizen.
7- The rest of the amount is paid electronically after the process of weighing the sacrifice and determining the total.
8- Receiving the sacrifices will be before the days of Eid.
The date of Eid al-Adha 2023
As for the date of Eid al-Adha 2023, it is expected to be on the next June 28, and the Eid prayer times vary according to regions. In Cairo, the Eid al-Adha prayer will be in Cairo 6.21, in Giza 6.22, in Kafr El-Sheikh 6.20, and in Minya 6.28.
