Denver Nuggets Defeat Miami Heat in Game Four of NBA 2023 Finals

Denver Nuggets defeat Miami Heat 108-95 in game four of the final NBA 2023. Michael Malone’s side are just one win away from becoming champions this season.

Playing at the Kaseya Center on Saturday (10/6) morning WIB, the Nuggets led 18-11, but the Heat equalized 18-18. Two Nikola Jokic free throws made it 20-18, but Jimmy Butler’s 3-pointer put the Heat up 21-20 late in the first quarter.

In the second quarter, the Nuggets scored 35 points, with Aaron Gordon appearing brilliantly by contributing 15 points. The Heat only scored 30 points, giving the Nuggets a 55-51 lead at the end of the first half.

In the third quarter, the Nuggets dominated again. They scored 31 points, of which only 9 came from three-pointers. The Heat also sank three three-pointers, but scored just 13 points from inside the arc. Score became 86-73.

In the final quarter, the Heat tried to get up. They had reduced the distance to 81-86, but the Nuggets were unstoppable by scoring 22 points. Even though the Heat scored similar points, they still lost 95-108.

Gordon was the star for the Nuggets’ win by contributing 27 points, followed by Jokic with 23 points. Bruce Brown also performed brilliantly as the sixth man by contributing 21 points.

Jamal Murray ‘only’ scored 15 points, but he scored 12 assists, while creating history as the first player in the NBA to score more than 10 assists in his first four consecutive finals. Michael Porter Jr. scored 11 points.

While in the Heat camp there is Jimmy Butler who scored 25 points, followed by Bam Adebayo with 20 points. Kyle Lowry scored 13 points, while Kevin Love and Duncan Robinson each contributed 12 points. Caleb Martin carved 11 points.

These results make the Nuggets now lead 3-1. They will return to play at home, at the Ball Arena in the fifth game which will take place on Tuesday (13/6) at 07.30 WIB. One win was enough to confirm them as champions.
