Four children who went missing after a plane crash in Colombia at the beginning of last month have been found alive after more than a month. This is reported by Colombian media.
The plane crashed in the Amazon on May 1. There were seven passengers on board. The children, three girls and a boy, come from the same family and are 13, 9, 4 and about 1 year old.
Earlier, after a long search, the bodies of three adults were found, including the mother and the pilot. At the plane, the rescuers also found several objects, which prompted the search to continue: a baby bottle and a partially eaten apple.
The children were found by the Colombian army:
It was already suspected that the children had built themselves a shelter to protect themselves from the rain. The children are being transferred to the Colombian capital Bogotá for medical examination.
