the essentials in brief
- On June 16th and 17th, Rammstein will perform in Bern.
- The Juso and Campax demanded a clear positioning from the organizer.
- Now there is the answer: the concerts will not be cancelled.
In less than a week the time has come: Rammstein is coming to Bern. On June 16th and 17th the band will perform at the Wankdorf Stadium.
But the musicians are currently under massive criticism – especially frontman Till Lindemann (60). Women are said to have been drugged. There is also talk of sexual violence by Lindemann.
“No basis for concert cancellation”
The Juso and Campax, a Swiss citizens’ movement, subsequently contacted the organizer Gadget abc. They demanded a clear positioning. They also wanted to know to what extent a cancellation of the concerts was being considered.
Now comes the answer: Rammstein should definitely appear in Bern!
Even if the allegations are serious: You have no knowledge that the band or a band member has been proven to have committed criminal acts. “Against this background, there is no legal basis for canceling a concert with our contractual partner,” explains Gadget abc.

A breach of contract would have consequences that would not be compatible with their sense of responsibility towards employees, suppliers and partners.
Nevertheless, the Swiss organizer states: “Gadget abc Entertainment Group distances itself from any form of violence and abuse and takes the current allegations very seriously.”
Rammstein himself has now turned on lawyers – and announced legal action. “These allegations are untrue without exception,” Lindemann announced through his lawyers. They want to take action against the individuals who made the allegations.
