The father of the head coach of the Ukrainian national team Stanislav Ivanovich Rebrov spoke about the work of the current Dynamo Kyiv coach Mircea Lucescu as the head coach of Shakhtar Donetsk.
“Lucescu had 11 Brazilians in Shakhtar. With such players it was possible not only to win the championship of Ukraine and the UEFA Cup, but also to win the Champions League! During Lucescu’s coaching career at Shakhtar, Fernandinho, Jadson, Willian, Fred, Douglas Costa and many others played for the Donetsk team in different years.
Lucescu, 77, has won 22 trophies with Shakhtar, including the UEFA Cup. The Romanian specialist worked in the Donetsk club for 12 years.
