Tournon-sur-Rhône gears up for 10th edition of Vélorution

Passerelle Mobilité is launching its new vélorution on Saturday June 10, to promote soft mobility, essentially the use of the bicycle as a privileged mode of transport. Vélorution is also the time to challenge elected officials and ask them for significant improvements in urban cycling structures. As a result of which the participants will demand key measures: creation of a complete and secure cycling network, promoting fluidity and urban mobility, installation of secure and practical bicycle parking, awareness and education. At the same time, Passerelle Mobilité is launching a survey of the population concerning mobility. (See Citizen Gateway Facebook).

The demonstration

On the practical side, the velorution will leave at 10 a.m. from Place Carnot in Tournon, and, after a journey through St-Jean-de-Muzols and Tain-l’Hermitage, will return to Tournon to be welcomed by the mayor, Frédéric Sausset. So, come in large numbers, young and old, with your bike for this great meeting of mobility!
