In the mentioned period, the share of the industrial sector in the total export of Turkey was 1.7 percent.
Leather and leather goods, automotive, electrical and electronics, machinery and accessories, jewelry, defense and aerospace, and air conditioning posted all-time high exports in January-May.
During the mentioned period, leather and leather products were worth 866 million dollars, automobile industry was 14.3 billion dollars, electrical and electronic industry was 6.6 billion dollars, machinery and accessories were 4.6 billion dollars, jewelry industry was 2.6 billion dollars, defense and aerospace industry was 2 billion dollars. dollars, the air conditioning sector has exported about 3 billion dollars.
In the first 5 months of the year, leather and leather products 7.5 percent, automobile industry 14.8 percent, electricity and electronics 10.2 percent, machinery and accessories 12.2 percent, jewelry sector 21 percent, defense and aerospace industry 22.5 percent, the air conditioner industry realized an export growth of 8.3 percent.
If we look at the countries, in the first 5 months of the year, $102.7 million worth of leather and leather products, $564.9 million worth of machines and equipment were exported to the Russian Federation.
The automobile industry exported 2 billion dollars to Germany, and the air conditioning industry exported 318.3 million dollars.
The electrical and electronics industry exported $644.8 million to Great Britain, and the jewelry industry exported $634.5 million to the United Arab Emirates.
