The buzz around Counter-Strike 2 may have died down a bit, but that doesn’t mean Valve has stopped preparing for the upcoming release for all players during the summer. After a number of minor modifications and corrections comes a larger update. The test is still available to a limited number of players. But if you’re lucky enough to get an invite, you can now play Dust 2 instead of the revamped one Mirage folder.
Valve does not hide the fact that with the new content, a number of bugs will be added to the game, so the ardent fans are again provided with entertainment to figure out all the ailments. Even gamers who are dedicated to creating their own content are sure to rejoice. They came out content creation tools for a community workshop.
New user interface for loadouts and shopping
You should find them downloadable directly in the game menu. You can design your own skin or weapon sticker, and even a map. Fbut it is not yet possible to share Anouško’s maps at the workshop. Thanks to the improvements of the Hammer editor, the compilation of creations will be greatly increased, but you need at least an Nvidia 2060Ti 6 GB or AMD 6600XT graphics card for it.
Another significant innovation is UI redesign for loadouts and weapon purchases. The whole process is clearer. The loadout is divided into a starting pistol, four slots for pistols, five for medium weapons, which includes SMGs and heavy weapons from CS:GO, and closes it out with another five rifles. It goes without saying that you can set the loadout for terrorists and CTs separately.
If you’ve ever tried Valorant, the new shopping menu will look familiar. The circle with weapons and other equipment was replaced by a clear table. The function for will also come in handy return of the purchased item. So it won’t matter if you accidentally click on yourself. But you have to do it during the shopping phase of the round.
Other minor modifications include sub-ticks changes, thanks to which the movement should appear more natural and precise. Smoke guns have better lighting and with a shotgun you make a slightly bigger hole in them. In contrast, you won’t stir them up as much with a grenade. Valve is definitely on track to deliver a sequel that will be played by as many people as CS:GO, and they’re clearly trying to accommodate fan feedback. However, we do not yet know when exactly everyone will be able to get their hands on CS2.
