JAKARTA (RIAUPOS.CO) – A meeting of Apple developers, the World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2023, a few days ago gave rise to many exciting announcements. Among all, there was the announcement of a new software update for the iPhone and iPad lineup.
The latest updates, called iOS 17 and iPadOS 17, bring a lot of new changes to redefine the whole device experience. Especially for iOS 17, it is hoped that this new operating system will bring many improvements from the current one, namely iOS 16, which has quite a lot of issues.
Apple recently revealed that 81 percent of all iPhones and 71 percent of all iPads were running the last major updates, iOS 16 and iPadOS 16. The report shows how good Apple is regarding the long-term support of its devices.
And the case seems to be the same with iOS 17 and iPadOS 17. Many older models are compatible with the update. iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 are the latest major updates that Apple has offered for its devices. At the WWDC event, Apple showed off many of the changed features. That includes the enhanced Control Center, which comes with lots of customization options.
Apart from that, the update brings a lot of apps which are now better. Among those apps, there are the Health and Wallet apps, which Apple has updated with new features and visual changes. These changes to the app will make it easier for you to navigate through the user interface and access important info.
Also, Apple will present a new application called Journal. It will offer intelligently curated suggestions, from photos from the day to your activities. These suggestions will encourage you to write down and preserve special memories.
Another important highlight of iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 includes a new feature for AirPods. Apple has launched Adaptive Audio, which combines transparency mode with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). This new feature will make you more aware of your surroundings and improve the quality of immersive audio playback.
Also, AirDrop will get better with iOS 17 and iPadOS 17. With the update, you can make file transfers by simply holding your Apple device next to another Apple device. Wondering if your current Apple device will get all of these features? Here’s the list:
