There was another explosion in Rotterdam on Wednesday evening. This time at a house on Cortenbachsingel in the southeast of the city. The occupant of the building suffered minor injuries.
Around 11 p.m. an explosive exploded near a house. The windows exploded, causing the glass to fall out.
It is not yet known what exactly exploded. A perpetrator is still missing. Ambulance, fire and police are present.
It is the second explosion in two days. In the night from Monday to Tuesday it was hit in a porch in the Eric Kropstraat in the Feijenoord district. A little earlier in the evening, around 2.30 am, there was a large flame and then a small fire at the coffee shop in the Delfshaven district.
The sum of the number of explosions in the port city continues to rise. Despite more efforts by the police and boas and preventive body searches in a number of neighbourhoods, there are regular explosions or other acts of violence. For example, more than fifty explosions took place in the first four months of this year.
