Aftershock with Magnitude of M 3.4 Hits Pacitan, East Java, Indonesia

Earthquake an aftershock with a magnitude of M 3.4 occurred in Pacitan, East Java (East Java). The earthquake was at a depth of 14 Km.

BMKG reported that the aftershock occurred at 00.21 WIB, Thursday (8/6/2023).

“#Gempa Mag: 3.4, 08-Jun-2023 00:21:47WIB,” he wrote on his Twitter account @infoBMKG.

The point of the earthquake was at 8.90 South Latitude, 111.02 East Longitude.

Initially at 00.04 WIB, a M 6.0 earthquake rocked Pacitan. This earthquake did not trigger a tsunami.
