Big Band Benefit Concert for Children’s Clothing Exchange in Kamenz

Dresden/Bautzen. The Caritas Foundation in the Diocese of Dresden-Meißen and the Bildungsgut Schmochtitz Sankt Benno invite you to a benefit concert with the Big Band of the St. Benno-Gymnasium in Dresden on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. The concert takes place in the “barn” of the educational property. Afterwards, around 6 p.m., there will be a barbecue to which families are particularly invited.

The proceeds from the benefit concert are intended for the children’s clothing exchange of the Caritas Association Oberlausitz eV in Kamenz. This facility started operations in February 2023 and is intended to be a place of togetherness, sustainability and an offer of help for families in Kamenz. The Caritas Foundation in the diocese of Dresden-Meißen was founded in 2010 and primarily supports social projects in the catholic parishes and institutions of the diocese. This primarily involves important projects that cannot be adequately financed, for example in the areas of children and young people, families, migration or assistance for people with disabilities.
