Florida Vehicle Technical Review Center Remains Closed with No Reopening Date

The Florida Vehicular Technical Inspection Center, in the north of Quito, remains closed and has no date for its opening.

The Registration Coordinator of the Metropolitan Transit Agency, Letty Andrade, explained to EL COMERCIO that citizens they can take appointments for vehicle technical review in all authorized centers.

In this context, he pointed out that the The only one that is not available to schedule appointments is the Florida CRTV and noted that “there is no release date”.

It must be remembered that this place and its technological equipment were affected by the overflow of the La Pulida ravine, which occurred at dawn on April 23, 2023.

At that time, the former director of the AMT stressed that the “damage is considerable.” As a result of this natural disaster, 22 families and 20 homes were affected. There were no deaths or injuries.

In Quito there are also review centers for Guamaní, Guajaló, Los Chillos, San Isidro and Carapungo.
