The husband of Coronation Street actress Julie Goodyear has revealed that she has dementia.
Julie Goodyear is best known for her role as Beth Lynch in the ITV series Coronation Street, which aired in 1966, then became a series between 1970 and 1995.
And her husband, Scott Brand, announced that his wife had dementia after she had been suffering from forgetfulness for some time, and that there was no hope for her condition to improve.
And the couple made the decision to announce the diagnosis, because Jolie still loves visiting friends and eating out, and the fans get to know her, and they love to meet her, but she feels overwhelmed, especially if she is tired.
Jolie remains the Woollywood Hisspace Hospice for the Elderly in Manchester which supports patients and families with dementia.
Jolie married painter Ray Sutcliffe in 1960, and they had Gary when she was 17 years old, before divorcing after 3 years, and in 1973 she married Tony Rodman, who escaped after only a few hours, and caused her trauma, after which she spent a month in a mental health center.
In 1979, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer, and doctors told her that she would not live for more than a year, but she was cured of the disease after intensive treatment, according to the British Daily Mail.
