Actor and Director of Vidin Theater David Slavchev Passes Away at 51

At the age of 51, after a long illness, the actor and director of the Vidin Theater David Slavchev died, reported NOVA.

David was born on July 14, 1971. He took his first steps in his acting career on the stage of the Youth Theater when he was only eight years old in the play “Don’t wake the lady”. This was followed by participation in children’s programs on the Bulgarian National Television. In 1991, he was admitted to NATFIZ in the class of Prof. Stefan Danailov. After graduation, he continued his career in the “Sofia Traveling Theater” and the “Youth Theater”. Viewers also know him well in his incarnation as a reporter, part of the team of the program “Masters of the Air”. Since 2018, he has been the director of the Vidin Drama Theater.

The actor’s family expresses sincere thanks to the team of Prof. Nikolay Gabrovski from the “Pirogov” Medical Center for the care given to David over the past 7 months.
