Toyota Yaris Cross Price and Specs in Indonesia: All You Need to Know

Toyota will soon open orders for the new Yaris Cross SUV in the near future. The first Toyota Yaris Cross was launched in Indonesia in mid-May 2023. Even though it has been introduced, it seems that consumers cannot place an official order yet.

For those of you who are smitten with the charm of the Yaris Cross, please be a little more patient. Marketing Director of PT Toyota Astra Motor Anton Jimmi Suwandy said that his party would open a booking faucet in the near future. But what’s the official price?

“The price range has indeed been informed, Rp. 300-400 million. But the final price, please wait a moment,” said Anton when contacted by detikOto, recently.

Even though the order faucet has not been opened, Anton said the Indonesian people are quite enthusiastic about the presence of the Yaris Cross. Some are curious to try the car directly.

The Toyota Yaris Cross, which is currently known to have launched globally in the Japanese market. Yaris Cross is here as Toyota’s first compact vehicle to adopt the TNGA (GA-B) platform. Meanwhile, the Yaris Cross, which has just launched in Indonesia, uses the DNGA platform.

The Toyota Yaris Cross was introduced in two versions, namely gasoline and hybrid. The petrol Yaris Cross is equipped with a 1.5 liter petrol engine coded 2NR-VE with a power figure of 78 kW and 138 Nm of torque. This petrol variant is offered with a choice of manual and CVT transmissions.

Meanwhile, the Yaris Cross hybrid technology uses an engine coded 2NR-VEX which can spit out 67 kW of power and 121 Nm of torque with the addition of a lithium ion battery where the electric motor has a power of 59 kW and 141 Nm of torque. The hybrid variant is only available with a CVT transmission.

This Urban SUV is equipped with Electric Parking Brake (EPB) with Auto Brake Hold, 6-airbags, ABS+EBD+BA brakes, Parking Sensors, Emergency Stop Signal, Hill Start Assist (HSA), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), and Blind Spot Monitor (BSM). Apart from that, the Yaris Cross is also equipped with a Panoramic View Monitor feature.
