Introducing the All-New Honda Elevate SUV: Features, Specs, and Release Date in India

Honda India has again launched a new champion in the SUV segment. Named the Honda Elevate, this dashing car will challenge the Hyundai Creta to the Suzuki Grand Vitara. This car will be marketed in Bollywood from July 2023.

As quoted from Honda India, Elevate is the first SUV among 5 new premium SUVs that Honda plans to launch in India until 2030. In the future, Elevate will also be developed into a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) electric car.

India will be the first country to manufacture and sell the All New Elevate globally. While the initial introduction of Elevate was focused on the domestic market, India will also export Elevate to a number of other countries.

Dimensionally, the Honda Elevate is included in the medium SUV category with a dashing and masculine design. The front fascia features a signature Honda grille, which is flanked by aggressive LED headlamps, while the side profile boasts a sporty character.

The All New Honda Elevate was developed by the Honda R&D Asia Pacific Center located in Thailand, to meet the needs and aspirations of young customers. Then the R&D team in India specifically works to understand the potential target customers through extensive market surveys.

The Honda Elevate is equipped with a 1.5L i-VTEC DOHC petrol engine which is claimed to be superior, fuel efficient and low in emissions. This machine can produce 89 kW (121 PS) of power and a maximum torque of 145 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).
