The Egyptian Ministry of Health, through its official account on the “Instagram” platform, published a list of its most important food sources.
What is it?
- Oily fish such as tuna

- Liver (chicken/beef)

- Pumpkin
The Saudi Ministry of Health stated, on its official website, that vitamin A is important as follows:
- Helping the immune system work better to defend the body against disease and infection
- Helping to see in dim light
- Maintaining healthy skin and the lining of some parts of the body, such as the nose
- Helping to grow bones and teeth
- Cancer prevention as it acts as an antioxidant
The daily body requirement for adults (19-64 years):
- 900 mcg per day for men
- 700 mcg per day for women

The Saudi Ministry of Health stated that excessive intake of vitamin A over many years may affect bone structure, making it more susceptible to fracture.
Symptoms of poisoning when taking a dose of 10 times the daily need for the body:
- Anorexia
- headache and vomiting
- changes in the skin
