KPK Searches House of Former Makassar Customs Head Andhi Pramono in Batam

The KPK searched the house of the former Head of Makassar Customs, Andhi Pramono, in the Grand Summit housing complex, Jalan MT Everets, Sekupang, Batam. Seen from the front, Andhi’s house looks luxurious.

Reported detikSumatra, Tuesday (6/6/2022), KPK investigators began searching Andhi’s house at 12.30 WIB. Two fully armed policemen were seen accompanying the search process.

KPK investigators were seen carrying two suitcases into house number 5. Security officers were seen occasionally going in and out of the house.

“Today the KPK Investigative Team carried out a search in the Batam City area in order to collect evidence. The location in question is a house that allegedly belongs to the party named as a suspect in this case,” said the Head of KPK Reporting Unit, Ali Fikri, earlier.

To be known, Andhi Pramono has been designated as a suspect recipient of gratuities. The KPK said that the alleged gratification by Andhi was related to the export and import process.

“Customs is indeed one of them there, right, the name of the field of work. So in export, import, then there are duties that are collected on exports and imports. Yes, that’s where the mistakes happened,” said Acting Deputy for Enforcement of the KPK Asep Guntur at the KPK, South Jakarta, Tuesday (16/5).
