Kaspars, Latvian Politician, Marries Long-Time Girlfriend Despite Controversy

“Privatā Dzīve” publication writes that Kaspars has known Gita from Iecava, who has become his married girlfriend, for many years.

His new wife works in the Tax and Customs Police. Both registered their marriage on the morning of Friday, June 2, at the registry office in Jelgava.

Kaspars was married to Liena Goda for twenty years, and a son was born in their marriage.
