Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman discussed, on Monday, with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, at the Peace Palace in Jeddah, “bilateral relations between the two countries.”
And the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, in a statement: “During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, prospects for cooperation and opportunities to enhance it in various fields, and exchanged views on a number of issues of common concern.”
She added, “The Crown Prince welcomed the president on his visit to the Kingdom, while President Nicolas Maduro expressed his happiness with this visit and his meeting with Prince Muhammad bin Salman,” according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The ministry stated, in another statement, that the Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, received in Jeddah his Venezuelan counterpart, Eban Eduardo Gil Pinto. on many regional and international issues of concern to the two friendly countries.
She added, “The two sides discussed the efforts of the two friendly countries in laying the foundations for international peace and security, and contributing to achieving the goals of global sustainable development.”
