How to Obtain Your Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate: Step-by-Step Guide

If you have completed your vaccination schedule against Covid-19 or have more than one dose, but you have the card and do not remember the combination of vaccines or the dates on which they were given, there is nothing to worry about. The Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance (MSPAS) has a platform to obtain the vaccination certificate.

This document, through a QR code, contains the personal information of each vaccinated person, including the full name, date of birth and the Unique Identification Code (CUI), of the Personal Identification Document (DPI). In addition, it shows in detail the batch of vaccine administered, the date and the country or place where it was administered.

The vaccination certificate is different from the vaccination card, which is a card printed on cardboard. The vaccination certificate is available in digital format.

According to the MSPAS, this QR code “is the true proof of vaccination”, since it specifies the dates when the doses were administered, the place, the batch and the type of vaccine received. The certificate can be downloaded as many times as required between 24 and 48 hours after receiving the immunological certificate; it is totally free.
