Andel Madrid Hosts Successful Machinery and Equipment Fair to Position Themselves as Trusted Suppliers

It was not an investment with a commercial objective, but rather a marketing one. They were not looking for sales, but rather to make noise in order to position themselves -or rather to support their associated stores- among workshops as trusted suppliers in the equipment and machinery segment. Because it is not an area that until now has been specially developed by Andel… and for that purpose its Madrid delegation held the first edition of a fair that had the direct participation of ten suppliers.

With all its stands displayed along the side aisle of the warehouse located in the Madrid town of Pinto, Andel Madrid had planned the visit of 150 workshops that would come from its associates. Despite the storm on Friday (June 2) and the threatening clouds for a few hours on Saturday, they managed to gather almost a hundred of them.

The event would serve as a dynamic element not only during the two days that the fair took place, but especially during the previous months in which the team from the Madrid subsidiary of the wholesaler did intense field work.

Javier Pérez, head of Machinery and Equipment at Andel Madrid -incorporated in 2022-, would be the main promoter of an event that has achieved what it sought: to demonstrate that they are a reliable option in this segment. It is one of the great projects of the delegation during the last two -perhaps three- years.

And as usual, due to Andel’s closeness to its associates, many of these distributors have been involved in the development of the event: mainly, due to proximity, those from Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha and Castilla y León -although they are also coming to Cáceres and even areas of Cantabria, the Basque Country, Mallorca or Alicante.

This involvement was precisely what many of the suppliers present at the event also highlighted. And it was something that was translated, on the one hand, into the dedication of his team – an example of the importance they gave to the event was that there were even displaced personnel from the plant: among others Juan José Salazar, Iberian manager of the network of workshops; or Antonio Pavón, surely the main visible head of the Andel Machinery and Equipment project-; and on the other in the specialization of a fair in which the leading role was total for the segment they were trying to develop.
