On 04.06.2023 at around 6:35 p.m., a report was received in the RU Berkovitsa that in the village of Dolna Bela Rechka a father fired a gun at his son, the police said. During the verification of the address, a 46-year-old resident of the town of Varshets was found, who voluntarily surrendered a gas-signal pistol with filler, of unknown make and model.
His 11-year-old son was found in the neighboring house, who stated that around 6:15 p.m. his father started shouting and shooting his gun at himwhereupon he got scared and ran to the neighbors.
During the inspection in front of the door of the house in the village of Dolna Bela Rechka, there were 14 shell casings found and seized.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case.
