Two boys narrowly saved from drowning after entering stormy sea in Burgas

Two boys, aged 8 and 14, who entered the stormy sea at the Central beach in Burgas, were narrowly saved from drowning this afternoon.

According to the police, the two boys, who have the same mother but different fathers, lied to their grandmother that they were going to the beach with the father of one, but arrived alone. Their mother worked abroad.

They spread out the towels by the breakwater of the harbor and decided to take a bath, having underestimated the danger of the rough sea and the gusty gusts of the wind.

Around 1:55 p.m., a random youth heard their cries for help and pulled them out of the water, then called the police. Burgas gendarmerie officers, municipal inspectors and an emergency team responded to the scene. Due to their age and the fear received as a result of the incident, the children were taken and examined to the hospital, after which they were released, explained the spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Tsvetelina Randeva.
