Teachers were celebrated in Dunakeszin

45 awards, recognitions and congratulations were presented by the city, the school district and educational institutions at the Teachers’ Day celebration. At the large-scale event, a high-quality program and a touching greeting laid the foundation for the big moments.

Vice-mayor Márton Nyíri made a welcome speech with touching, kind, heartfelt and personal messages from his kindergarten and elementary school years at the city celebration organized in honor of Dunakesz teachers. More than 200 teachers filled the large hall of the VOKE József Attila Cultural Center on the first Friday of June.

The talents of the Farkas Ferenc Elementary School of Arts (FFAMI) put on a high-quality show this time as well. Alexander Nyiri sat down at the piano first to perform Schubert’s Impromtu in A flat major. Tamás Oroszki took over the instrument from him to accompany Géza Bangó, who played the first movement of Mozart’s Violin Concerto in G major. The institution’s Pántlika group presented a spectacular film set from Marosszék. We can also tell you about the young musicians that they have been admitted to the Bartók Béla Music and Instrumental Training Vocational High School, where they will continue their studies from September. The event in Dunakesz fell on the same day as the state Teachers’ Day celebration, where Dr. Erzsébet Domoszlai, head of the FFAMI piano department, was awarded the József Eötvös award in recognition of her outstanding work in the field of talent management over an exceptionally long period of time and her commitment to the vocation of a teacher. His award was also praised at the city event. In addition to the awarding of teacher of the year awards, this occasion also provides the opportunity to hand out Pedagogical Service Memorial Medals, School Certificates of Recognition, colored diplomas and the Lenau Award.

The colorful diplomas were also handed out at this ceremony. Dr. Rubin received a diploma for his 70-year teaching career. Ferenc Fenyő from Bárdos, Imré Kárpáti from Kőrösi, from which Ferenc Botos and József Csákó received gold diplomas (they took the state exam 50 years ago), and Gáborn Lőrincz and Ilona Hideg Turcsán from Fazekas.

This year, the Lenau prize was awarded to the German teacher at Miklós Gimnázium in Radnót, Miss Stadler Lilla Szűcs could take it over from the Dunakesz German Nationality Self-Government.

The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the Teacher of the Year awards. This year, three people took home this recognition. One of them Mrs. Krisztina Kasza Baloghn Kindergarten teacher at Kerekerdő Tagóvoda, who carries out her educational work and mentoring her colleagues in an exemplary manner. Carpenter Gabriella Gáborik strengthens the faculty of Szent István Primary School. With his innovative work, he works to make the children fall in love with the English language, and this year he wrote and won a 5-year accreditation application for the school for student travel. Third prize winner Orsolya György-Bencsika math and science teacher at Bárdos Lajos Elementary School, who adjusts his work, methods, and lesson plans to the children’s abilities and personalities, and also listens to them, knows them, encourages them, supports them, and understands them.
