WARTAKOTALIVE.COM, JAKARTA – Future presidential candidate (Bacapres) Anies Bawedan will attend the Formula E 2023 tournament at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC), Ancol, North Jakarta, on Saturday (3/6/2023) and Sunday (4/6/2023).
The man who was once the Governor of DKI Jakarta praised this year’s Formula E tournament.
Anies said the two-day holding was a signal that the public’s enthusiasm for Formula E was very high.
“That (twice) illustrates that Formula E is indeed an activity with high enthusiasm. In fact, it has been held twice now,” said Anies on Saturday (3/6/2023).
Anies hopes that this tournament can be held even more in the future.
Moreover, this tournament is a legacy of his policies when he served as regional head in the capital for the 2017-2022 period.

Apart from that, Anies was also proud that tickets to watch this tournament as many as 80,000 copies for two days had been sold out.
The management of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) has partnered with the private sector as a sponsor to hold the tournament.
“I am very happy that all the tickets have been sold, hopefully the race will run smoothly. Everyone feels happiness, carry the name Jakarta, Indonesia is better,” said Anies.
Anies came to the Formula E race location with his wife, Ferry Farhati, and their children.
Even though he was the initiator of the tournament during his leadership era in 2022, Anies admits that he bought the tickets himself.
He admitted that he had not come there to fulfill the invitation but really wanted to watch the tournament.

“I bought a ticket, I’m not an invitee. Buy tickets like the others too,” said Anies.
Anies came wearing a black shirt that read ‘Jakarta Cyclist, City of Collaboration’.
