Exploring art as a bridge to Mental Health

On Wednesday, May 31, the Talk-Exhibition on Art, Women and Mental Health was held, with the aim of showing art as a tool to improve the quality of life and mental health.

Two prominent artists were present at the event.

On the one hand, Villa Candelasan artist from Badajoz with more than a decade of experience in the art world, who gave us a tour of her work, revealing her most human side.

On the other hand, he was Alba Maria Fernandezan artist from Torremayor, who discovered her ability for art through the workshops offered by Plena Inclusión Montijo and recently established herself as the winner of the 2022 Calamonte Joven national contest.

The organization of this event was in charge of the Psychosocial project “Descubriendo talentos”, which has the financial support of the ONCE Foundation and the European Social Fund.

In addition, it had the catering service of the Fogones Inclusivos project, who were in charge of organizing the catering for the event.
