Hundreds of Jokowi Volunteer Organizations Declare Support for Ganjar Pranowo as Presidential Candidate

Hundreds of organizations volunteer Joko Widodo supportersJokowi) will make a declaration of support for Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate (candidate) in the 2024 presidential election.

The chief executive of the event, Teddy Wibisana, said that the declaration would be held at the Basket Hall Senayan, Jakarta, Saturday (3/6).

“This declaration of support for Ganjar Pranowo is very important for us to do as a form of firmness in our stance as a volunteer organ supporting Jokowi,” said Teddy in his statement, Friday (2/6).

“With this declaration, we hope that the volunteer organs that have always supported and escorted Jokowi, can focus on immediately closing ranks and socializing support for Ganjar Pranowo to the grassroots level,” he continued.

Teddy claimed that around 7,000 volunteers who joined around 120 voluntary organizations supporting Jokowi would attend this declaration.

Jokowi’s volunteer organizations include the Higher Education Alumni Community (KAPT), Civil Society Alliance for a Great Indonesia (Almisbat), National Secretariat of Networks and Organizations of Indonesian Citizens (Seknas Jokowi), Association of Indonesian Volunteers (PRN), Ground War Troops (PPD), Blusukan Jokowi and others.

Meanwhile, representing the Steering Committee (SC) Bambang J. Pramono stated that Jokowi’s volunteer organization’s decision to support Ganjar was because his figure was acceptable in various circles of society.

In addition, said Bambang, Ganjar is also considered to have a very good communication style with the community.

“Our decision to support Ganjar Pranowo is not without reason. So far, we have seen his track record and character, which deserves to lead Indonesia in the future,” he said.

Bambang also considered that Ganjar’s leadership style was very suitable to lead Indonesia by bringing about even better changes.

“Ganjar Pranowo’s figure is very suitable to continue President Jokowi’s leadership. He is also experienced in government. We also want Indonesia’s future leaders to be leaders who have a people’s commitment, have integrity, and are willing to work hard,” he concluded.
