Meanwhile, in January, the construction of a new passenger departure terminal at Vilnius Airport began, which will allow to increase the number of passengers served by the airport and increase the quality of service. By the end of 2024, the area of Vilnius airport’s passenger terminals will be increased by a third, they will be able to serve 2,400 passengers per hour, which is more than twice the number than at present.
It is planned that passengers will be able to start using the new terminal in 2025.
