Lebanon’s Ambassador to France, Rami Adwan, Denies Arrest for Unspecified Crime in European Country

Today, Friday, Lebanon’s ambassador to France, Rami Adwan, denied in an interview with “L’Orient le jour” what was reported in the media about his arrest in a European country for committing an unspecified crime.

And French newspapers reported, yesterday evening, Thursday, that “Adwan was arrested in a well-known European country, for committing a misdemeanor, and that more details will be announced in the European press.”

“I was not arrested, and I don’t know who publishes such nonsense,” Adwan said.
