A person has been found dead at Balbergkampen in Lillehammer. According to the police, the person fits the description of a 22-year-old who has been missing in the area.
The next of kin have been informed of the discovery, the police said in a press release.
– The police received a tip from a hiker on Thursday that there was something blue in an area near Balbergkampen, and a police patrol traveled to the scene. Shortly afterwards, a dead person was found who was wearing a blue jacket and red shoes, says section leader Ragnhild Ouren for investigations at Lillehammer police station.
The police have requested an autopsy on the person.
