Cristiano Ronaldo’s Injury Ends First Season in Saudi Arabia: Al-Nassr Finishes Second

Cristiano Ronaldo’s first season in Saudi Arabia ends with injury

Cristiano Ronaldo missed the final day of the Saudi Pro League through injury as his side Al-Nassr ended their season with a 3-0 win over Al-Fateh on Wednesday.

Cristiano Ronaldo decided not to remain on the bench for the frustrating end of his first season in Saudi Arabia after joining Al-Nasr in January for a contract estimated by the media at more than 200 million euros.

The 38-year-old finished with 14 goals in 16 appearances, having played every minute of every league game apart from the 1-1 draw with Al-Ettifaq last month, where he was taken off in the 84th minute, and Wednesday’s final game.

Al-Nasr did not win any titles this season and finished the championship in 2nd place, five points behind the champions Al-Ittihad.
