An adorable, furry moment came to fruition in New York City; Dogs and cats of different breeds gathered for the “Pet Gala 2023”, an event that took place on May 22, and had the purpose of recreating the iconic costumes of the celebrities who attend the Met Gala every year.
During this year’s Met Gala, which took place on May 1, personalities such as Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Salma Hayek, among others, wore designs by stylists such as Brett Alan Nelson, Chanel, and Rebecca Corbin Murray in collaboration with with Gucci, respectively.

But, going back to the Pet Gala, the mastermind behind this event is Anthony Rubio, an American fashion designer; who has dedicated his career to the creation and design of exclusive costumes for canines, which have stood out in events such as Fashion Week in New York, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Met Gala, among others.
In addition, his creations have appeared in renowned fashion magazines such as Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle.
Its numerous catwalks gave rise to the event that captivated more than one, the “Pet Gala”, which, as already mentioned, Rubio recreated the extravagant costumes of some singers and actors/actresses; the result was simply adorable, each puppy and kitten posed for the camera like professionals and the outfits were very well designed for each one.
