See my news
Those who are used to traveling to Marseille on the bus network of the RTM probably noticed it.
On the line 19often called the beach line, some stops have changed names. Here are which ones and why.
Update on the name of the stops
For a long time, the clarity of Marseille’s public transport networks has been decried. These last years, change has taken place : installation of screens in buses, real-time application, etc.
A new step has been taken on line 19: if a visitor wonders what beach correspond a what stop namehe will now have his answer.
The Bowl finally locatable
Thus, on line 19 of the RTM, the La Plage stop has become Plage du Prado. Until then, everyone follows.
others modifications are more convincing: Plage Planches à Voiles becomes Plage de l’Huveaune, Hippodrome Plage becomes Escale Borély and Les Gâtons Plage is transformed into Bowl du Prado.
The goal of this youthful look? Better spot et better geolocate the most popular places in the city, such as the Bowl de Marseille in particular, once difficult to find for a novice.
With all that, no more excuses not to get lost.
