“Multi-Talented Artist and Teacher: The Enduring Legacy of Manzur”

Manzur has been a painter, engraver and draughtsman, with interests in various disciplines such as theatre, music, history of art and civilization, photography, literature, religion, astronomy and, furthermore, he has been a great teacher since that in various workshops has trained several generations of artists. He studied at the Art Students League of New Yorkin it Institute Pratt and has been a two-time Guggenheim Foundation Fellow. Manzur will soon be 94 years old but he is still very active in his workshop in Barichara, Santander.
