Up to and including the Winter Games in Milan 2026, the 18-year-old skating sensation Jordan Stolz has joined the Dutch Team Albert Heijn Zaanlander of coach Jillert Anema and Olympic champion Irene Schouten.
Stolz continues to train in Milwaukee
Team Albert Heijn Zaanlander announces that Stolz will not be moving to the Netherlands for the time being either, but will continue to train with his own coach Bob Corby at the Petitt National Ice Center in Milwaukee: “Anema and his team provide remote advice. Several times a year, Stolz will hanging out with his teammates during training camps, for example.”
“Jillert has been around for so long, has coached so many champions and won Olympic medals,” reports Stolz. “There is so much training information and knowledge in this team full of good skaters and guidance. That’s why I think this is the right move for me now. I believe they can help me very well.”
Stolz also takes world title 1,500 meters, Nuis and Krol take silver and bronze
Anema is naturally delighted with the acquisition of Stolz: “The collaboration with Jordan offers opportunities for the entire team.”
“He has great timing and control in the inside of the 500 meters. For Dutch skaters, that is usually the most difficult distance to dominate, in which Jordan can be very valuable for the other skaters in our team. The goal is of course that the skaters make each other even better.”
