Jordan’s official celebrations begin with the wedding of Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince and Rajah Khaled Al-Saif, today, Wednesday, and will continue for two days.
According to the Jordan News Agency, King Abdullah II will hold a dinner in the Bani Hashem Matharib at the Royal Hashemite Court today, on this occasion, attended by more than 4,000 invited members of Jordanian society.
And she added, “In rejoicing on this occasion, the banquet will include paragraphs highlighting the diversity and originality of Jordanian heritage, such as poetry, singing and songs.”
Tomorrow, Thursday, Zahran Palace will witness the marriage ceremony of the Crown Prince and Rajah, after which the newlyweds will go to the Husseiniya Palace, surrounded by the red procession.
The procession takes a number of streets in the capital, which are decorated with flags and manifestations of joy on this occasion.
At Al Husseiniya Palace, King and Queen Rania Al Abdullah will hold a wedding reception, followed by an official dinner.
Guests flock to Jordan
Jordan’s guests began arriving in the capital, Amman, to attend Jordan’s festivities, which were attended by state leaders, crown princes, and personalities from brotherly and friendly countries.
The wedding ceremony is receiving great media attention locally, regionally and internationally, and television stations will broadcast the celebrations live.

Local and international media began their technical preparations to convey the full details of the wedding of Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II.
Jordan provided a specialized media center for 200 journalists.
The center was equipped with seats, equipment, infrastructure, qualified and trained cadres and competencies to provide support to journalists and the media.
The media center provides multiple and integrated services to ensure comprehensive coverage of the wedding ceremonies, including the Internet, discs, photography locations, and a live broadcast studio. It also provides about 200 seats for journalists and media professionals.
The center received many requests for media coverage, and television and radio stations, international agencies, foreign newspapers and magazines, and local media will cover the ceremony.
