The under-21 national coach, Rui Jorge, announced this Wednesday the squad for the European category that will take place between June 21 and July 8, in Georgia and Romania.
A note on the presence of João Neves, a young midfielder who took over as Benfica’s starter in the final stretch of the League, and who had never been called up for this selection category.
The list consists of 25 names, of which two will leave before the trip to Georgia.
Remember that Portugal will have as opponents in the group stage one of the host teams, Georgia, in addition to the Netherlands and Belgium.
