Latvian National Theater Actor Ainārs Ančevskis Confirms a New Family in “Ieva” Magazine Interview

Latvian National Theater actor Ainārs Ančevskis (46) is used to keeping his private life a secret. However, he gave an interview to “Ieva” magazine, in which he confirms that a smile has returned to his face after a few years. Previously, the actor experienced difficult moments in his family life, but now he has created a new family.

In 2016, Ančevski’s marriage to actress Marta Grassi was divorced. The couple married in 2010 when their son was five years old. After Grasse left the relationship, Anczewski fell into a deep depression, while the son began living with his father. Well, Rait is already 17 years old.

In 2021, the magazine “Kas Jauns” reported that Ančevskis was seen with another woman, also pushing a baby carriage. Ančevski himself did not get lost in the explanations.

In an interview for “Ieva” magazine, the actor admits that he has a new family, but does not want to say much about it: “I will not say anything more about my new family. We are a family, we have moved to the countryside, and that’s the end of the story. Too fresh yet everything. These are new challenges and tests for me, but I feel that my wings are spreading. Let’s see how far we can fly with them,” Ančevskis tells the magazine.

The actor also reveals that it is not too difficult to express his love in words, he is closer to actions. “Wash your loved one’s car, pour fuel into the lighthouse. Bring home a salmon steak for dinner. I understand, it’s not a pearl necklace or gold earrings, but in that moment, that piece of salmon in dinner can say so much,” he reasoned and adds that the hour-long journey from theater to home In Vecumniekos, it is useful for him to work with himself, so that the everyday life of the theater does not end up in the family.
