“Hundreds Protest Against President Rumen Radev in Sofia”

Asen Genov accused Radev of trying to thwart attempts to form a government.

“All citizens who support the European path and compliance with the Constitution are invited!”, the organizers of the event wrote today.

The highlights of the protest are:

1. Bulgaria’s European path! Bulgarian institutions must fulfill our obligations as a worthy member of the EU and NATO.

2. Compliance with the constitutional mechanisms for parliamentary governance and regular government

3. Art. 1 (3) of the Constitution: No part of the people, political party or other organization, state institution or individual may appropriate the exercise of popular sovereignty.

Traffic in the area is blocked.
