“Teenager charged with assault for shooting subway train driver with pellet gun”

They file charges against a 16-year-old teenager, for allegedly shooting the driver of a train in service in the face with a pellet gun.

The event occurred on Saturday afternoon, at the Borough Hall Subway station, located in downtown Brooklyn.

Police reported that the teenager was on the platform when he fired with a pellet gun, hitting the victim’s cheek with one of its bullets.

The driver was taken to NYU Langone Hospital, where he is expected to recover.

The teen was charged with one count of assault.
