A rare Windows user has not used the Task Manager. Most often, it is used to forcibly shut down hung applications. To call the task manager, just press Ctrl, Alt and Delete at the same time.
Details
Microsoft developers have decided to stop using this combination. Windows users will be able to shut down hung programs directly from the desktop. At the same time, they no longer need a task manager. The new function has already managed to get an early test version of the OS. The fact of its appearance in Windows 11 was officially confirmed by representatives of the North American software maker at the Build conference.
To remove the task, it will be enough to select the appropriate item in the context menu. Recall that the context menu in Windows is called by clicking on the RMB.
A similar method of “killing” processes is used in macOS, which is a direct competitor to Windows. It is very convenient because users do not have to launch an additional application. You can remove the task in just a few clicks.
