Chelsea announce Pochettino appointment as head coach
The Argentine specialist’s contract is for two years with the possibility of extension. The coach will start work on July 1

Argentine manager Mauricio Pochettino takes charge of Chelsea informed club press office.
The contract with the 51-year-old specialist is for two years with the possibility of extension for another one.
The London club fired Graham Potter in early April and appointed Frank Lampard as the team’s coach until the end of the season. After that, Chelsea suffered eight defeats in 11 matches and won only one victory.
Frank Lampard takes charge of Chelsea for the second time
Chelsea finished 12th in the Premier League at the end of the season.
Pochettino has worked at Espanyol, Southampton, Tottenham and PSG throughout his coaching career.
