Man to hospital by air ambulance after traffic accident

A man in his 40s has been sent to hospital by air ambulance after a traffic accident on Kopstadveien in Tønsberg early on Monday morning.

The car has driven off the road and ended up on the roof, according to the police in the South-East.

The man was trapped, but was freed and taken to hospital.

The road was closed, but has now reopened.

The police reported the accident shortly after 05:30 on Monday morning.
