“FK Pardubice Defeats Baník Ostrava 4-2 in the 5th Round of the Extension of the First Football League – Rescue Group”

Sleza took the lead with a lightning-quick goal by Muhamed Tijani in the 27th second, but a certain participant in the tie then turned the situation around with three strikes at the turn of the halves. However, the lightning goal rather hurt the home team. Darmovzal could have equalized for Pardubice, who started without their top league scorer Janošek in the starting line-up, in the ninth minute, but goalkeeper Hrubý showed a quick reflex at the near post. Ostrava had no constant pressure, but there were a few opportunities for the second goal. In the 26th minute, goalkeeper Markovič kept the visitors away from Fleišman and Bitri’s chances, and in the 35th minute, the post helped him after Jurošek’s header.

Before the break, however, the lax performance of the home team was punished by Darmovzal, who handled Sychra’s pass and technically overthrew Hrubé. The 22-year-old midfielder scored the first league goal of his career.

Ostrava played the second half even worse, and in the 48th minute, Krobot took advantage of this, turning the score around with a kick on the ground from the penalty area. In the year of the top competition, he had his fifth hit.

Tijani soon flashed a great, but inaccurate scissors, and soon Pardubice scored for the third time, when Darmovzal again handled the ball promptly and hung it up after turning.

The miner only started to rise from depression in the final half hour. Fleišman did not shoot Marković from close range, but in the 74th minute Tijani converted a penalty for handball in the penalty area.

However, in the 83rd minute, the visitors stopped Ostrava’s pressure with a well-executed counterattack, which was finished off by Lima after a cross pass. The Brazilian player also scored the first goal in the Czech league after a few minutes on the field.

Pardubice won away from home in the league for the second time in a row, however, they only scored 14 of the total 37 points there this year. The tie with Příbramí will start on Thursday at its stadium, and three days later they will welcome it home.
