The Boston Celtics won at the buzzer tonight in Miami (103-104) to force a game seven in this Eastern Conference final. While they had a good start to the match, notably with a very good Jayson Tatum who scored 25 points in the first half, the Boston players never really managed to widen a real gap. Driven by their public, Miami players are more than ever in the game at halftime (53-57). In the third and fourth quarters, the air becomes thinner and thinner in the Kaseya Center, defenses become increasingly aggressive, and both teams’ percentages drop dramatically. Miami also completely misses its third quarter (18.5% shooting) but once again the Celtics fail to create a real break and the end of the match promises to be unbreathable (79-72 at the end of the 3rd quarter). At the very end of the match, the Heat leads (103-102) but there are three seconds left and possession is for Boston. Miami defends well, depriving Tatum and Brown of the ball, so it’s Marcus Smart who takes a three-point shot quickly, missed. But Derrick White (11 points in total, including 8 in the 4th quarter) followed the action well and scored a tap as the buzzer sounded (103-104). This conference final will be played like last year in game 7, but in Boston this time, see you on the night of Monday to Tuesday for this epilogue.
